Louise Greene Counsellor & Psychotherapist
I am a fully qualified, integrative counsellor and psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience, and an Accredited Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I draw from and integrate a range of theoretical perspectives in my counselling practice as this enables me to adapt my approach according to the needs and personality of each client.
I work with individuals and couples on both a long-term and short-term basis, covering a number of concerns. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety or stress, having problems with addiction, low self-esteem or anger management, my counselling in London can help you to gain a new perspective and discover new ways of thinking.

I began my training at Thames Valley University, where I successfully completed the Certificate in Person-Centred Counselling. I then went on to do a Postgraduate Diploma and MA in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at Roehampton University. Since then I have completed additional training, including a Foundation Course in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Awareness Centre in 2012, Developing Skills in Couple Work at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships in 2014 and Professional Training in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness at the British Mindfulness Institute in 2015.
During my training I worked in the voluntary sector for Faces in Focus, counselling young people up to the age of 25, and for the Creative Therapies Project, counselling Southwark residents suffering from a variety of mental health concerns. In addition, I worked for Tower Hamlets Community Alcohol Team (THCAT) for 18 months, counselling Tower Hamlets residents over the age of 18 affected by alcohol misuse.
After completing my training, I worked as a sessional counsellor for Turning Point – South Westminster Drug and Alcohol Service for 15 months, counselling residents in South Westminster affected by drug and alcohol misuse. I also worked at Townley Grammar School in Bexleyheath for two years, counselling pupils aged between 12 and 17. I currently have my own private practice based between Peckham and East Dulwich.
